TOTALLY ORIGNAL WWII SPECIAL AIR SERVICE (S.A.S.) BEIGE BERET

A wonderful opportunity to obtain a totally original and very desirable Elite special Air Service (S.A.S) Unit Beret, fine example of the beige wool beret with late WWII period embroidered winged dagger beret badge with their famous motto "Who Dares Wins", the beret badge stitching has started to come unstitched in some places, possibly by collectors over the years to see behind the badge. The beret has beige silk lining with black leather trim. Black leather rectangular patch behind the gromets. The beret shows some service wear with a few scattered areas of moth tracking throughout. Sand colour berets were early to mid WWII, the maroon berets were introduced later. A great opportunity to obtain an elite SAS soldiers beret.
