GERMAN EARLY WWII 1933 MODEL SS DAGGER BY RARE MAKER BOKER

An early German WWII 1933 Model SS Dagger by the rarer maker Boker, comes complete with scabbard and hanging strap intact. The dagger is in overall good condition, please view photos. Both the upper and lower cross guards are solid nickel and free from damage. The reverse of the lower guards is stamped 1, indicating that this particular dagger was issued to the Munich district, the pommel nut is again free from damage. The grip is made of solid ebony and shows some signs of bruising and surface cracking but remains sound and intact with none of the cracks passing through both sides. The SS Roundel is in good condition with no loss to the enamel, the nickel eagle sits firmly and comfortably in place. The blade is without damage and has NOT been tipped or sharpened, but has some pitting to both sides. The rare Boker trade mark to reverse. The scabbard is straight throughout and has a fine black finish with over 60% remaining. This scabbard could have been anodized when first issued, but we often see Boker daggers with period repainting. The black leather hanging strap with nickel fittings are in place and in very good condition, the sprung clip is in good working order. The matching nickel scabbard mounts are also in good condition, including the lower ball. All original screws are in place. A totally untouched original SS Manns Dagger by the desirable rare maker Boker, highly collected, priced extremely well.
