Hard To Find, WWII British Chaplains Service Cap. A fine example of a service cap worn by Chaplains within the British Army during WWII, Interestingly the cap badge is of a bygone era in relation to WWII, as you would appreciate not many of these types of caps were issued as there were far more soldiers than chaplains, which makes this a rare find. The cap is in excellent condition free from mothing or damage in khaki finish. The cap has been embellished with the low voids highlighted in white, the chinstrap is in excellent condition held in place by two blackened GS buttons. Interior with an oil skin upper water proof liner and maker details visible beneath. Good overall condition, one moth nip underneath the peak and one under the sweatband. Very collectable and rarer item than most
