Early WWII British Field Service Helmet 1939. Absolute quality Dunkirk Era Helmet. Shell is dent and damage free and most of the original Field Green finish is remaining, sand textured rather than smooth. The helmet is fitted with its period netting cover which also contains a 1940 dated field dressing, please see photos. Liner is in great condition with the early oval crown cushion fitted, has clear makers mark and date 1939. Helmet is a good early war green finish and would be hard to upgrade.
