GERMAN WWII WAFFEN SS/ TOTENKOPF FLOSSENBURG CONCENTRATION CAMP GUARD WHERPASS.

A Rare example and in nice condition SS Totenkopf Wherpass, heavily stamped to the front cover WAFFEN SS in large font at the base of the cover, belong to Georg Motz. Photos of Motz face on to the camera, hatless wearing his SS uniform with Totenkopf collar patch clearly shown although the exposure is slightly faded, the collar patch can be clearly be seen. Originally of Hungarian ancestry from German parentage. Page 11 shows him as a member of SS/TOTENKOPF STURBANN K.L. GROSSROSEN. Page 12 shows him initially as a guard in the original camp Grossrosen and followed on the 13.2.1945 as a guard SS/L Stuba Flossenburg, and also, Promotion on page 12 noted as SS Rottenfuhrer. The SS 3rd Panzer Division Totenkopf sometimes referred to as the Deaths Head Division was an elite division of the Waffen SS , Most of the battle groups personnel had been transferred to the Waffen SS from concentration Camps, The Totenkopf Regiment was Commanded by Theodor Eicke.
