A very nice example of an Original German WWIl Iron Cross 2nd Class made by J E Hanner & Sohne of Geringswalde just west of Dresden. The Iron Cross has an iron core finishing and complete with its original ribbon. Ring is stamped crisp and clear 55. Has never been cleaned and has good age tone to both sides of the solid silver outer casing, in nice condition.  read more

German WWII Bronze 2nd Class War Merit Cross with Swords, with the harder to find numbered ring, stamped 45 for maker Julius Bauer Sohne. The medal depicts a pebbled cross and a wreathed Swastika/ 1939 to reverse to the centre, to the top an integral loop with numbered ring with ribbon attached.
