Rare Japanese Flag dated 1936 Berlin Olympic Games. The flag retains all its original stamp marks along with the German eagle. The 1936 games were made famous by American black athlete Jesse Owens who won four gold medals whilst competing Hitler refused to shake his hand, very desirable and highly collectable, very hard to find from this period of history. I am sure this would appeal to WWII Japanese militaria, Olympic memorabilia and third reich memorabilia. Still retains its original tie cords. After, Japan bombed Pearl Harbour the Americans joined WW2. Size 62 1/2 inches x 35 inches. Condition: Much age toning and foxing, age character and usage stains.
