Fantastic Authentic Original WW2 British Tommys Greatcoat Dated 1942.

A Totally original authentic example of a British war time WW2 Greatcoat, this coat is a standard 1940 example British tommy Greatcoat – which is dated 1942, the Greatcoat which is made from a very heavy khaki green coloured wool and features period buttons throughout its entirety. the coat as Flapped pockets to the skirt and there is a half belt to the rear which fastens with buttons which are again the standard General Service examples. Inside the coat the original label is still present. the size is 8 and the maker 'Montague Burton Below this is the War Department broad arrow marking and the date 1942. The coat displays incredibly well and is still very wearable today! There are signs of age and wear including some small holes etc towards the bottom of the coat. There is also a small L-shaped tear to the rear bottom but can be fixed. A nice original WW2 British greatcoat in the hard-to-find larger size and still very wearable today.
