A Battle of Britain, The Bilz, retreat from Dunkirk, and also when Winston Churchill became prime minister of the United Kingdom era Example RAF Station flag,totally Original Authentic hard to find1940 Dated fully stamped WW2 British Wartime RAF station flag. To the side fully ink stamped with Date 1940, makers mark for London, military broad arrow, AM, for air Ministry, station numbers. The colours on this flag are still very bright and vivid just showing genuine aging and usage, it is made of a thick like sack material finishing. the flag has the distinctive RAF Bullseye emblem which is multi - stitched onto a sky-blue field behind this is also applied to the British union jack flag finishing to the top corner which is all panel segmented sawn together, to one end the flag still retaining its original rope attachments. The flag is around 57 inches x 31 inches a superb size for displaying would look absolutely amazing framed under glass. becoming Hard to find original RAF wartime flags with full in stamps and dated 1940. .
