A 1930s BRITISH PANEL STITCHED PATRIOTIC UNION JACK CEREMONIAL FLAG.

A Wonderful Example of an Authentic Original Early 1930s pre–WW2 British Patriotic Union Jack Ceremonial Flag, made during the reign of king George V the flag is made of thick individual panel segments stitched together with additional bordered red, white and blue thick wool tassels indicating this would have been used for special Ceremonial processions, marches etc. To one side of the flag a red thick strengthening material segment looped compartment allowing a wooden flag pole to fit into it, the flag shows signs of age and some thinning, age marks and one small hole aprox 25mm x 15mm a couple of moth nips due to authentic usage but nothing bad at all this actually gives the flag a timeless character feel to its entirety , the flag colours are still Rich vivid and vibrant, also has the actual side hanger that would have been tied to the flag pole missing end tassels .
