Stunning WWII Third Reich Panzer officer's Visor Cap by prestigious Tailor Maker Wilhelm Holters Berlin Germany.

A stunning superb example of the most beautiful Panzer Officer's Peaked Visor Cap made by the prestigious military tailor Wilhelm Holters Berlin, Wilhelm Holters was a highly respected manufacturer of headgear and uniforms during the third Reich era and was known as the “Fuhrer Adolf Hitler's favourite cap maker" and also Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring, and Reichsfuhrer SS Heinrich Himmler’s favoured Tailor, he was renowned for his exquisite highest-quality constructions using only quality materials. Original visors bearing Wilhelm Holters makers mark stamp are very scarce indeed compared to the mass-produced example caps by other makers of that time, so collectors do attach a premium price to this particular maker name and are avidly collected.
The cap displays beautify with a wonderful high front saddle shape and showing only the slightest evidence of having actually been worn completely free from any damage apart from one tiny meniscal moth nip to the very back of the cap’s outer hatband mentioned for accuracy, this stunning panzer cap is constructed of the finest quality field grey gabardine wool with a stunning vivid pink colour piping applied to this Panzer cap. The visor band is in the regulation rich olive green felt colour finishing. The fine undamaged Insignia is a typical mix of materials with the brushed finished quality aluminium eagle & swastika sitting above a fine hand applied embroidered silver-aluminium embroidered oak leaves with aluminium Cockade roundel with central red felt in perfect condition. The fine twisted silver wire chinstrap cord lays beautify upon a perfect black Vulkanfibre peak visor with a smooth grey underside. Inside the grey sweatband is clearly impressed marked by the important maker Wilhelm Holters Berlin stamp mark, the silver lining with its diamond shaped sweat protector still all intact. The outside is absolutely stunning and in my opinion the best I’ve seen in this condition in over 40 years of collecting, to inside light usage to the front of cap appears to be two small sweat or blood stains, all in all a fantastic example of a fine scarce Panzer officer's Peaked or Visor Cap by the prestigious military tailor Wilhelm Holters of Berlin, who was far more superior in craftmanship then even the Erel production examples we see, this cap in my opinion is impossible to upgrade on or to find a better example for sale , size is around medium to large.
