CBE Military Medal Original Genuine Authentic WWII Example.

A wonderful opportunity to obtain a 100% Original Large Full-Size C.B.E (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) Medal Type 2 C.B.E Sterling Silver/Guilloche Medal this was made by Garards of London. This example has the hard to find Military red water fleck Ribbon with white strip to the centre (shortened for displays), medal is the Type 2 example issued during the reign of King George VI WW2 , To the top front of the medal the Royal Crown, still prominent and present, the medal finishing of guilloche enamel is in beautiful condition with the inner circle in red finished enamel with block lettering in gold “For God and the Empire”. To the centre king and queen conjoined busts finished in gold gilt. To the reverse of the medal has the Royal cypher with crown above and roped bordering. The medal is hinged attached to the crown which is in perfect working order and correct. The medal has beautiful aged toning and has never been cleaned. Nice example
