We are extremely proud to offer for sale a Rare British Crimean war set comprising of a hand signed, in ink by her majesty Queen Victoria Royal military appointment letter/document, dated 1854 to Rawson John Crozier Esquire - Colonel - in the Army of the East Indies' The document bears a very bold ink signature of Queen Victoria to top corner, dated 1854 and counter signed by the secretary of war, this comes its original envelope. Comes with his full-size Crimean 1854 unnamed solid silver medal (never been cleaned) with silver Sebastopol bar to ribbon, a most stunning beautiful cased painted miniature portrait of Rawson John Crozier Colonel in military uniform. the miniature portrait is hand painted and is of Rawson John Crozier Colonel, beautiful vivid colours and fine detailing to its entirety a fantastic example indeed, this is housed in a leatherette press to realise case. A very hard to find British Crimean war collection example especially with the hand signed document and miniature portrait of the officer in question intact. Provenance: These items have been purchased through the vendor's family by direct descent.
