RARE NAMED EIIR CBE GROUPING WITH PHOTOGRAPHS TO FIRE CHIEF LONDON BRIGADE 1968

A very rare opportunity to obtain Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Full Size CBE Medal Type 2 grouping named to, Deputy Chief Office of the London Fire Brigade F. Mummery Esq, the grouping consists of a full-size CBE Medal Type 2, made in Sterling Silver/Guilloche made by Garrard of Mayfair, who are the Royal Jewellers and restorers of the Crown Jewells that are Held within the Tower of London. The box has gold lettering CBE to front, the CBE comes with original card stating how to wear, red water fleck ribbon with white strips to the outer edging, fasteners still present and correct. To the top front of the medal the Royal Crown, still prominent, the guilloche enamel is in perfect condition with the inner circle in red finished enamel with block lettering in gold “For God and the Empire”. To the centre conjoined busts finished in gold gilt. To the reverse of the medal has the Royal cipher with crown above and roped bordering. The medal is hinged attached to the crown which is in perfect working order and correct. The medal has never been cleaned. The CBE was issued in 1968. Along with the CBE comes with its original full-size citation that carries the embossed seal of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire and has facsimile signatures of HRH Queen Elizabeth II and Consult Prince Philiip, also with the grouping are letters from St James Palace to the recipient. With the addition of 8 various glossy photos including Her Majesty the Queen and Prince Phillip during a visit to the London Fire Brigade along with re-enactment and others, the photos were taken privately and given to the recipient and to my knowledge not been made public. Beautiful gold and red embossed booklet of Statutes of the most excellent order of the British Empire with black and white photos and many pages of text. Rare complete grouping to find in its entirety. Here Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was the most loved and cherished Monarch of all time and the longest reigning monarch in British History.
