WWI HUGE PANEL STITCHED UNION JACK BRITISH FLAG BY J. EDGINGTON & CO.

A magnificent early Twenty Century WWI Panel Stitched Union Jack of Great Britian. Huge size standards 15ft x 7ft 6”. The Union Jack Toggle and Rope to one end with reinforced stitched corners. The flag has beautiful vivid colours and is without damage. This flag would have also been used during WWII for patriot symbolism. The flag has makers label J. Edgington & Co famous flag makers for the Royal family for Coronation for Kings and Queens, flags for all celebrations, they also made flags worldwide. J, Edgington flags are at the Imperial War Museum. Good makers wartime flags, more studier quality than is typically encountered, heavier than usual with reinforcement at two corners. The purpose of this flag is not necessarily for military use; however, the grade of the textile is definitely utilitarian, made for outside use, rather than indoor. The Edgington family supplied flags to the British Navy and was flown at the Battle of Trafalgar. Please note the horizontal flags are all inline, I did not have enough room to spread out completely. Still can be used today for celebrations or even in a themed bar or restaurant.
