GERMAN WWII SS-SD OFFICERS TUNIC DIAMOND

A very nice example of a SS Officers Bullion Sleeve Patch. The Silver raised Bullion letters SD are applied onto a black wool backing, which would have been then worn on the sleeve of the SS Officers Tunic, indicating he served as a SD member of the notorious Gestapo, to reverse standard buckram backing finish. The SD was an especially notorious organisation During the Third Reich Era of the SS organization and with many atrocities committed in its name.
