EXCELLENT WWII GERMAN COMBAT PANZER ENLISTED MANS M36 TUNIC
An excellent nice heavy tunic being worn by the Panzer enlisted man. Army model 36 with dark green collar attached. Standard configuration for an M36 Tunic, five buttons to front, four pockets with pleats, excellent nap of cloth overall, adjustable cuffs and virtually fully lined to the interior in the standard brushed tan lining. All the nap of the cloth is thick and good, fitted to each shoulder are a pair of the stitch in panzer pink wool piped shoulder boards with dark green centres. The original stitched number 2 has been unpicked, but is visible to one to the centre of the board, which indicates the 2nd Wehrmacht Panzer Division, this unit has seen extensive combat battle throughout the war. A set of Bevo woven pink Panzer centred collar patches are laid onto a section of dark green uniform cloth, which has then been attached as a whole to the collar. The breast eagle, which is in superb condition is of the grey on darker green Bevo type, all buttons are a matt grey and correct. The tunic has various markings to the interior including depot code F40 for Frankfurt 40, size stamp and makers mark for Max Muller Nuremberg. These combat tunics are becoming hard to find especially the early 1936 pattern and being that of the Panzer Division. There are two minor moth nips between the 2nd and 3rd buttonhole and another just to the virtual underside of the right-hand area of the collar, from what I can see, in very good condition. Size medium to large
