A VERY NICE US SWEETHEART COTTON SCARF COVERED IN SODIERS LOVE LETTERS.

A very nice US Sweetheart cotton scarf, covered with printed soldiers love letters printed 1942. The scarf depicts various love letters sent from a soldier to his beloved. There is also a original letter sent from an American Soldier dated 15th December 1942 from a Fort in New York sent to his sweetheart Mildrid comes with its original A4 sized envelope which has been address to here also in New York. These flags were given to wives and girlfriends for them to wear to show they had a loved one serving during the war. This item was purchased amongst a consignment of WWII items from a US Veteran. Size 640mm x 600.
The scarf has some foxing and age toning. Nice overall condition.
