WONDFERFUL ORIGINAL WWII COTTON RISING SUN FLAG.

A very nice example of a GI American Soldier bring back, Japanese WWII Cotton Rising Sun Flag, consisting of a red disc and sixteen red rays emanating from the disc, like the Japanese National Flag the Rising Flag symbolises the sun. These flags were originally used by Feudal Warlords in Japan in the Edo Period 1603-1868. white field bearing a central red disk (a stylised sun). The flag is a good display size 900mm x 570mm.
