VERY RARE HAND SIGNED KING CHARLES I AS PRINCE OF WALES DATED 1621 WARRANT
A very rare opportunity to purchase a hand signed Royal warrant by King Charles I As Prince of Wales dated 1621, Original Hand signed documents are very rare indeed to find especially as a young 21 year old Prince of Wales. King Charles I King of England, Scotland and Ireland. Born 1600. From 1625 until his execution in the wake of the English Civil War 1649. Following the protectorate rule of Oliver Cromwell and his son, Richard, Charles’s line was restored to the throne with the succession of his son. Charles II in 1660 whose reign was retroactively dated to 1649. Rare manuscript Vellum DS, signed Charles P November 22nd 1621. Original warrant issued to sir Adam Newton ordering payment of £79.10.8 for reparations of our stables at the Mews, St James Sheene and Richmond as per the bill subscribed by Sir Thomas Howard, Master of the Horse, for Francis Wethered, Surveyor of the Stables. Signed in the upper portion by Charles and countersigned below by Francis Crane as auditor general. An attractive document signed by the 21-year-old Prince of Wales. Becoming incredibly hard to find any documents signed by the prince. King Charles was executed at Whitehall, London on 30th January 1649 aged just 48. comes with independent authenticity (auction certificate).
