WWII RAF FLIGHT LIEUTENANT PILOTS PEAK CAP

British RAF Pilot rank of Lieutenant Peaked Cap. The cap with leather chinstrap, black cloth covered buttons, all correct, with two vents, padded crown, green under peak finishing marked VERO & Co London. The Caps has its original metal gilt eagle with bullion wreath and Kings crown, this cap originated from a set comprising of a Tunic, Battledress and trousers owned by the same person, the battledress and trousers are dated 1943 so it can be assumed that the Cap is from the same date. Size estimated to fit a man of size 5 foot seven to eight as that is the sizes of the battledress and trousers. condition, has wear, the kings crown has come away from the stitch, still intact good combat aging.
