FANTASTIC WWII RAF FLIGHT LIEUTENANT PILOTS TUNIC

Original WWII British RAF Pilot rank of Lieutenant Tunic/Blouse. Beautifully tailored by Simpson of London. The tunic is made of a high-quality RAF Blue finished material, with fine silk padded pilots full winged breast badge, rank insignia to Flight Lieutenant to cuffs, two stripes. This tunic has been worn and shows much wear and age, there is a dry cleaners stamp within, all buttons correct the bottom three buttons have lost their brass. The tunic has its original belt, the bar to the reverse of the buckle prong has detached to one side. The tunic does not have a size stamp, however the battledress mentioned below has a stamp mark of size 8 to fit approx. 5foot seven to eight inches tall, so one can assume it would be the same size, this is just an estimate, we do not measure sizes. This tunic is undated; however, it comes from a complete uniform set owned to the same person which we have on sale on our shop, comprising of cap, blouse and trousers which are dated 1943.
