SCARCE EARLY EXAMPLE OF A GERMAN WWII POLITICAL LEADERS PEAK CAP EARLY STYLE FOR ORTSGRUPPE LEVEL

German WWII hard to find 1936 Pattern Political Leaders Peak Cap which are far rarer than the 1939 pattern. Good high front with fine quality brown top and dark brown velvet centre band with blue piping for the Ortsgruppe level of Political leadership. Complete with gilt metal eagle, early style small swastika cockade badge and gold cap cords which are held in place with two small gilt metal buttons. The interior of the hat features a gold artificial silk lining with plain celluloid patch, the leather sweatband shows some wear through genuine use, as you would expect but is still complete and all remaining, under the sweatband is an RZM issue tag. The hat is in very nice condition with just a few tiny minor moth nips to the blue piping as they often seem to have. A very nice-looking cap and this particular leader cap is harder to find than the latter type. Priced extremely well for this example of peak cap.
