RARE GERMAN WWII ARMY OFFICERS DAGGER WITH SILVER WIRE KNOT BY PUMA SOLINGEN.

A superb sought-after Army Officers Dagger with silver knot in tack by very desirable and rarer maker Puma Solingen. The blade is in fantastic condition as you can see from the photos and only has a couple of tiny marks here and there, mentioned purely for accuracy, in wonderful condition, to the reverse of the blade is the maker’s trademark: The puma cat, which is deeply struck and very visible. Cross guard and scabbard are all matching, with a nice patinated age colour. The grip handle is deep and rich in a dark orange colour finishing, the handle is free from any damage, cracks or splits and is in mint condition. The Pommel features acorn and acorn leaf to its outer edging, in fine deep detail, this also follows to the scabbard hanger attachments. The scabbard in which the dagger is housed, has a pebble finished front and back and in mint condition and is without any knocks or dents that I can see. The Eagle Swastika again, has a richly structed finishing with much detailing throughout. The silver knot is free from any damage and also, in wonderful condition. All in all, a superb Army Officers Dagger by very desirable and rare maker Puma Solingen.This dagger has never been cleaned or in a collection.
