WWII FIELD MARSHALL MONTGOMERY HAND SIGNED LETTER SEPTEMBER 1944.

A wonderful example of a typed letter which is Hand signed in Pen by Field Marshall Bernard Law Montgomery, dated 14th September 1944 World War Two. This letter was Signed 14 days after he was promoted to Field Marshall, and only days before Operation Market Garden, during the height of the campaign in North West Europe. The letter is on A5 paper with printed heading TAC Headquarters, 21 Army Group B.L.A. and is addressed to A K A; who was Major General A K Hay, who was a close friend of Montgomery. The letter was to thank him for his letter and mentioned that he would like to meet with him again. The letter contains its original envelope and has Field Post Office Stamp dated 16th September 1944 and carries the royal Coat of Arms, which is raised embossed on the reverse of the envelope and certified official OHMS. Totally Original Hand Signed by Field Marshall Montgomery, who had many famous battles during his serving time including; the North African Campaign which he fought against Nazi Field Marshall Erwin Rommel.
