WWI J Hudson & Sons Birmingham Trench Whistle 1918 with leather strap, made by J. Hudson & Co Birmingham. The trench whistle is in excellent condition with much age patina throughout, in full working order. Comes with its beautiful original leather strap for attachment to a tunic. A wonderful piece of Military WWI British history, the whistles were used to signal an attack on the enemy in which the British Soldiers would go over the top of the trenches. The Hudson Company was a world-famous whistle maker, who also produced the whistles used on the Titanic. The trench whistle has fantastic age paten throughout.
