ORIGINAL WWI DATED 1916 BRITISH ARMY TRENCH PERISCOPE LONDON

Totally original British Army Trench Periscope is dated 1916, makers Ross of London in full working order, when you look through the eyepiece you can see speaks of dust and dirt, has loss of paint here and there, through use during WWI, the Periscope has original attachment ring still in place. The date 1916 is the date remembered for the famous battle of the Somme which took place between 1st of July and 18th November 1916 which saw many thousands of lives lost on all sides. The Periscope was used to peak over the edge to view the enemy without getting your head shot off. Original used item from the Great War.
