WWII AMERICAN FLAG, CELEBRATION, LONDON VE DAY 1945.

Very impressive printed WWII American 48 Star Flag, made by renowned English manufacture John Edgington & Co Ltd, 108 Old Kent Road, London. This flag would have been used to celebrate Victory in Europe Date May 8th 1945, in London. The flag is made of thick cotton with rope and toggle attachment to one end. The manufacturer was a well-established British company, who made flags for the coronation and worldwide celebrations along with state visits and their flags are highly collected. The photos were taken around the time of the manufacture of this particular flag and is for reference only, does not come with the sale of the flag.
