EARLY WWII LARGE, HAND STITCHED ST GEORGE FLAG 9FT X 4FT 6 INCHES

Large, displayable, hand stitched WWII St George Flag dates from around the early 1940s WWII Period. The flag was obtained some years ago from a dealer who purchased the flag himself from a local Docklands Wearhouse near St Kathrine's Dock area, London. The flag is made from heavy cotton sack like material, with the hand stitched applied red cross applied against a white field, Features a thick rope and toggle attachments to one end for flying, which has been reinforced to these two corners. Still retains its vivid colours but shows signs of age, has some perforations here and there consistent with age and genuine use. Would look great displayed.
