FINE GERMAN WWII PANZER OFFICERS VISOR CAP

A very nice Panzer Officers Visor Cap, semi saddle shaped. Constructed in a very high-quality Melton light grey green cloth, which displays the panzer pink waffenfarbe excellently. Standard dark green centre band with waffenfarbe to the upper and lower sections. A good matching set of national insignia with some original frosting remaining to both the eagle and the wreath, standard officers wire cap cords with twin pebbled buttons. To the interior of the soft leather tan sweatband all intact showing minor wear use. The remainder of the upper lining to both sides and the crown are in gold with its centre celluloid lozenge with full makers logo, which has one small .5cm hole in it. There are ink marks to the interior crown lining where an owners name has been inked out. The orange rubber cushion that sits behind the forehead is all intact but has solidified and crumbly but as it is under the leather sweatband it is not visible. Possibly size 56. Overall, a very nice Panzer Officers WWII Peak Cap.
