GERMAN WWII BELT BUCKLE STEEL CONSTRUCTION.

A nice example of a WWII German Belt Buckle, made of steel construction with great detailing throughout, this type of buckle was worn by all regular German troops during WWII. The German belt buckle was introduced in 1936. This design has a smooth finish and the motif is slightly domed and features the Heer eagle and GOTT MIT UNS (God with us) as well as the oakleaves on the bottom with a twisted rope border in very good condition. To the rear of the buckle there are twin prongs on the right-hand side for attaching to the belt with the catch on the left-hand side. Also has makers stamp mark
