ORIGINAL LARGE GERMAN WWII WAFFEN SS POSTER.

A magnificent poster of the Waffen SS showing the upper head and shoulders semi side profile of a waffen SS Oberstumfuhrer measuring 41cm x 55cm laid onto hard card and within a glazed frame, the very fine detailed image with the artists name Anton applied close to the left hand shoulder with the wording below ( Berufen Zum Kampf Huter Des Friedens ) which literally translates into Fight For Peace. To the upper right hand side of the poster there is a hand written inscription with the date 1944.this has been folded and when it was laid onto the hard card backing is not known, however a fantastic image for this portrait possibly recruiting poster for the Waffen SS.
