Rare German WWII Regiment General Goering Tunic.

A Rare magnificent tunic, which is in totally untouched condition, the tunic is of officer quality cloth, standard Luftwaffe construction, deep turned back barrelled cuffs, four pockets with pleats and straight flaps, four button closure open collar style. Slight moth damage to the upper edge of the collar and some light moth peppering to the upper back panel and bottom. Tailor prepared stitched in shoulder boards, the shoulder boards are constructed from the same bolt of cloth as the tunic with identical weave, white wool piped with Luftwaffe tress surrounding each board. Matching Luftwaffe to the collar with twisted cord, white waffenfarbe to the edge of the collar. A very nice hand embroidered Luftwaffe NCOs breast eagle, collar patches in white with one single full with green silk piping indicating infantry. Iron cross 2nd class ribbon stitched to the tunic directly between the first and second buttonholes. Loops to the tunic for three awards and one short medal ribbon bar. To the lower left sleeve as the tunic is worn is a very nice enlisted ranks machine embroidered General Goering Cuff Title. The tunic is fully lined to the interior, two inside pockets with tailors label Wilhelm Schwarte Schillingstr.22 Berlin with the original wearers name and date April 1939.
