Hitler Youth Peak Cap Very Early Example with Yellow Unit Piping
This model HJ Leaders hat was worn from 1933 until 1936 by Junior HJ Leaders from the rank of HJ Kameradschatfsfuhrer to HJ Unterbannfuhrer. Brown cloth cap with matching brown cloth visor and with yellow HJ unit piping for the HJ Oberbann 2. Complete with early style silver eagle and HJ enamel diamond badge. The brown chin strap is held in place by HJ style brown buttons. The interior features the typical brown political cloth lining, originally there would have been a cloth RZM tag machine stitched to the hat lining but this was removed a long time ago but signs of it are still clearly visible. The brown leather sweatband is in excellent condition, the under side of the sweatband has the original owners initials. There is some very slight age staining to the yellow piping , but mostly at the back. The hat displays beautifully.
