A Very Rare and highly desirable totally authentic original Adolf Hitler and Albert Bormann collection - personally hand signed letters in ink to an artist, both with original signatures bold and clear, from Fuhrer of nazi Germany Adolf Hitler and Gruppenführer private secretary to Adolf Hitler and chief of the Nazi Party Chancellery Albert Bormann to artist Wilhelm Kraus.
Adolf Hitler and Albert Bormann - personal letters to an artist, both with original signatures A letter from Adolf Hitler to artist Wilhelm Kraus with the following wording (tr.): "Dear Mr Kraus! You have given me great pleasure by sending your large painting PIETA, which you kindly placed at my disposal to decorate the Brown House. I would like to thank you once again. With German regards! Adolf Hitler". Hand-signed by Adolf Hitler and dated "Berlin, den 6. April 1934", written on his personal stationery, a double sheet, including the original envelope. Furthermore, a letter from Albert Bormann to the artist, also referring to the painting, with the following wording (tr.): "Dear Mr. Kraus! Thank you very much for your letter from the 14th of last month, which I unfortunately only found time to answer today. As far as I am aware, the Führer has seen your painting, which you presented to him as a gift on the anniversary of his coming into power. It is located in his private residence in Munich. You will receive a personal note of thanks as soon as the Führer's schedule permits. I will search for the newspaper sections that you submitted and forward them to you as soon as I obtain them. With German regards! Albert Bormann." Hand-signed by Albert Bormann and dated "Berlin, den 5. April 1934", written on the official stationery used by Adolf Hitler's
Chancellery. A photograph of the painting in question is also enclosed in this fabulous collection . Traces of age and handling. Of the utmost rarity. Condition The painting received a personal "thank you" letter from Adolf Hitler. In this correspondence, Hitler expressed his gratitude to Kraus for gifting the piece to him and noted that the painting had been personally placed by Hitler in the Berghof, his private residence in the Obersalzberg. The painting depicts the Virgin mother Mary holding Jesus Christ after his crucifixion.

Albert Bormann was brother to high ranking nazi officer Martin Bormann. Albert Bormann (2rd September 1902 - 8 April 1989) was a German Nazi Party official who served as a personal adjutant to Adolf Hitler and as the chief of a main office in Hitler's Chancellery. He reached the general rank of Gruppenführer in the National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK) during World War II. He was the younger brother of Martin Bormann, private secretary to Adolf Hitler and chief of the Nazi Party Chancellery. In 1927, Albert Bormann joined the Sturmabteilung (SA), the Nazi paramilitary organization and, on April 27, he joined the Nazi Party (NSDAP membership number 60,507). He was the Gauführer of the Hitler Youth in Thuringia from 1929 to 1931. In April 1931, Martin Bormann gained his brother a job with the Nazi Party Relief Fund in Munich. By October 1931, Bormann was assigned to Kanzlei des Führers (Hitler's Chancellery). It was responsible for the Nazi Party and associated organizations and their dealings directly with Adolf Hitler. After rising to the rank of SA-Sturmbannführer, Bormann left the SA and joined the National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK) where he eventually was promoted to NSKK-Gruppenführer. Bormann was different from his older brother, Martin. He was tall, cultured and "Avoided the limelight". Bormann believed he was serving the greater good and did not use his position for personal gain. He became friends with SS-Obergruppenfuhrer Philipp Bouhler, the chief of Hitler's Chancellery (Der Chef der Kanzlei des Führers der NSDAP).
Hitler was fond of Bormann and found him to be trustworthy.
