WWII Dated Brodie Helmet painted white with the N.H.S.R. to the front and revers

WWII Dated Brodie Helmet painted white with the N.H.S.R. to the front and reverse. N.H.S.R is for the National Hospital Service Reserve. The helmet has its original elasticised webbing and canvas chinstrap. The Brodie Helmet to the inside is dated 1940.The N.H.S.R. were formed during the cold war, however they used original WWII helmets. All original white painting I have no doubt this was St Johns Ambulance Service helpers helmet during WWII. Original WWII 1940 dated Brodie Helmet, Reconditioned for the cold war nuclear threat using original metals.
