WWII Signed King George VI Hand Signed Royal Pardon 1943. A very hard to find document of a Royal Pardon by King George VI. The document is hand signed in ink by King George VI (Queen Elizabeth II father) to top right hand side bold signature George RI George Rex Imperator and countersigned to the reverse. The document is dated 10th July 1943 in the seventh year of our reign. The Pardon is addressed to the governor of our Prison at Wormwood Scrubs (A Military Offence) Given at Our court of St James. To pardon Yves John Putley of an offence against Section 4(2) of the National Service Act of 1941. Becoming hard to find Royal Pardons by King George VI.Size: 210mm wide x 335mm high. One large piece of paper which has Kings Signature to top and countersigned to reverse. It has age pattern to boarders in really good condition.
