A wonderful opportunity to obtain an Original Full Size Military MBE Full Medal in an Original Presentation Case intact, made by Royal Silversmith makers of the time Garrard’s of London and issued Military personnel. To the reverse of the medal we see a full set of English Sterling Silver Hallmarks crisp and clear date letter D1919 and also has the lion passant to the suspension ring. The medal is still in superb finishing as you can see from the photos, with original silk purple water fleck ribbon with red stripe and pin back attachment. To the top front of medal we see the Royal Crown prominent and present. The presentation case is of a purple outer boarder edge leatherette finishing, block letters in gold MBE Mily. Press to release catch which is in perfect working order. To the inside a cream velvet base with a silk padded liner to the roof with the full Royal Mint. Garrard of London are the makers of the Crown Jewells which are housed in the Tower of London, also Garrard are credited for such pieces as the Queen Mary Crown used for the Coronation, the Imperial Crown of India worn by King George V and the famous Koh-i-Noor diamond which was made for the Queen Mother.
