Original Grouping WWII RAF Ladies MBE Solid Silver Medal & Service Medals. A wonderful opportunity to obtain an Original Full Size Ladies WWII Military MBE Full Size along with WWII Service Medals and Ribbon Bar, the set also has the Original Miniature Medals. Made by Royal Silversmith makers of the time Royal Mint. The Medal Set comes with its Original Letter from Buckingham Palace signed by King George VI (This is a facsimile signature not hand signed). The medals are in superb condition and presented to Section Officer Audrey Penfold Women’s Auxiliary Air Force, comes with original MBE Mili Case and I have also included paperwork from the London Gazette dated 1942 showing the awarded to the recipient. To the back of the Bow Sterling Stamped. The set is in wonderful condition comprising of 1939-1945 War Medal and Defence Medal WWII. Very hard to find Named MBE especially those To a Woman who serviced in the RAF during WWII.
