British WWI/II dated 1940 National Fire Service Steel Brodie Helmet Blitz. A WWI helmet raw edge helmet reconditioned for service in WWII, issued during the Blitz carries the number 38 and NFS decal to the front which is for London Wimbledon, has some original paint finishing throughout its entirety. Retains its original chin straps and leather liner, the liner is dated 1940 and the helmet has been re-stamped 1941. This helmet was used during the Wartime Blitz.
