WWI British Artillery Trench Art Cap 1915

A wonderful example of a British Artillery Shell transformed into Trench Art The piece depicts a British Officers Service Trench Cap. It is a 18 pound shell in lovely polished condition. The cap badge to front is made from a Royal Engineers brass Tunic Button. To the top various shell stamp marks dated 1915, The cap sits very well and displays superbly. Measures 4 inches across the top. Nice collectors piece.
