fine authentic original example of an early WWII British RAF Pilot Officers peaked cap. An early example of a Pilot RAF wartime Officers peaked cap. The cap has the green underside to the peak which indicates an early production RAF cap as well as the stitched padded interior to the crown another interesting fact is that this cap appears to be a private purchase example. The front of the cap has the original Kings Crown Padded RAF Officers cap badge insignia which is in good condition along with its original chinstrap, the thin construction is typical to the early production caps. A wonderful and totally Original WWII Pilots Cap. please note that the photos of the war time pilots are for reference only and do not come with the sale of the cap. Size around medium to medium-large, Condition: no mothing, inside usual wear, sweatband has slightly come away to the back, nice original example.
