A Great opportunity to purchase a Totally Authentic Original Southern State (South Carolina) American Confederate Stitched Flag circa mid-1950s from a time of great civil unrest. The flag is in good overall condition showing some light staining and some very tiny holes nothing at all serous, this flag is of a double-sided stitched variety, great display size of 45”x 28” inch, The flag has a very nice early thick cotton weave with panel and star stitched finishing to its entirety. A white strengthening shoulder and fish brass eye rings for mounting as correct. The colours are still bright strong and vivid. To the white strengthen strip ink text but very faint to read now, all in all, a very fine and very hard to find untouched example of an original American circa 1950s Confederate flags. Condition report: the flag has been used and has been around for over 70 years, it has nice aging overall with some tiny holes and a few stains here and there nothing serious, the age look gives the flag a feel of total authenticity, becoming hard to find original confederate stitched flags. would look magnificent framed and mounted. This flag was purchased from a dealer from Southern State of America (South Carolina) and was in his collection for many years.
