A magnificent Totally Authentic Third Reich Stunning elite Allgemeine SS armband, this particular armband would have been worn on the elite Allgemeine SS Black Service Tunic and has been removed from a tunic, this example is made with high-quality thick red wool finishing with separate applied white ribbed rayon circle and black rayon ribbed Swastika with upper and lower edges with black rayon brads, the armband retains its original SS Silk RZM Tag to the inside (RZM-156-SS-37) This SS armband is free from any moth damage and is in close to mint condition a fine example indeed just showing aging. The outer edges of this armband show strands of black cotton where it was once attached to a black SS elite Allgemeine uniform, please note the photograph of the SS man does not come with the sale of the armband and is for historical reference only. Authentic original SS armbands with the silk RZM Tags are becoming highly collected. A stunning example the best I’ve ever owned in over 40 years.
