Wonderful example of a very impressive Authentic Original WW2 hand ink Signature of high ranking nazi leader Reichmarschall Hermann Goring, the vellum Document measures 353 × 250mm and is Complete with its very impressive outer original card folder bearing the large Golden Eagle of Sovereignty to front, the signature is clear and bold as you can see from the photos, the signature sits next to a large embossed Eagle and Swastika document stamp on the lower right side. The Signature of Reichmarschall Hermann Goring is on an Appointment Document, accompanying the facsimile signature of Adolf Hitler. this Document relates to the appointment of Doctor of Engineering Werner Kreschmer to the Civil Service position of Senior Teacher, and most interestingly, guarantees his protection. Hermann Wilhelm Göring
January 1893 - 15 October 1946 was a German politician, aviator, military commander, and convicted nazi war criminal. He was one of the most powerful figures in the Nazi Party, which controlled Germany from 1933 to 1945. He also served as Oberbefehlshaber der Luftwaffe (Supreme Commander of the Air Force), a position he held until the final days of the nazi regime. The Nuremburg trials war crimes. Goring was charged with war crimes, including the plundering and removal to Germany of works of art and other property; and crimes against humanity, including the disappearance of political and other opponents under the Nacht und Nebel (transl. Night and Fog) decree; the torture and ill treatment of prisoners of war; and the murder and enslavement of civilians, including what was at the time estimated to be 5,700,000 Jews.
Death - Göring was found guilty and sentenced to death by hanging, he made an appeal asking to be shot as a soldier instead of hanged as a common criminal, but the court refused the night before he was to be hanged, Göring committed suicide with a potassium cyanide capsule.
